Import

Load a backup into the project this app is connected to. Publish the current firestore.rules there first. Existing records are kept unless you tick “Overwrite”.

Passwords: Firebase never gives an app access to stored passwords, so a backup cannot contain them. Import creates a fresh sign-in account for each person and can email them a reset link. To move password hashes themselves, use the Firebase CLI auth:export and auth:import with owner access to both projects.
